This design is rooted in one of the most defining moments in Algerian history - 1962, the year Algeria reclaimed its independence after 132 years of colonial rule.

The large “62” on the back is more than a number; it represents liberation, sacrifice, and the rebirth of a nation whose identity was carried through culture, resistance, and football.

The black base of the shirt symbolises remembrance - honouring the martyrs and generations who fought for freedom during the Algerian Revolution.

Against that darkness, the green, white, and red typography emerges with purpose, echoing the colours of the Algerian flag.

The football influence is deeply intentional.

Since independence in 1962, football became one of Algeria’s strongest cultural symbols — a source of unity that transcended regions, generations, and class.

The design pays homage to the Algeria national football team, known as Les Fennecs, whose legacy represents resilience and pride on the world stage.
